Default I'm getting a new puppy!!!!

I am picking up my new shepard mix puppy today. About to have 2 dogs and i'm looking for additional advise on how to introduce the puppy to the 3 year old lab mix.

Labs and Lab mixes should get along well with the newcomer. I grew up with Labs...excellent dogs, and 3-year olds are still barely more than pups themselves so all they'll want to do is play. A shepherd mix isn't going to be a tiny tot, either, so I'd get them together and let them interact. Watch them for a bit and if you see nothing worrisome, you'll be good to go.

Default update on new puppy

Just an update:

The day after we got our new puppy she had to go to the vet, she was sick!! We took her and found out she had parvo!! Likely we took her right away!!! Friday evening she finally got to come home!! Her name is LoLa and she is doing GREAT!! LoLa loves her new brother, Max. As for Max (the dog I already had) he is getting use to having a sister!!

I think everything happens for a reason!!
Thanks!!!

Enjoy your puppy..

Back in the mid 90's we had about 4 puupies the Vet claim to have that. Finially we got tired of losing puppies to that and took one to another Vet. Found out they did not have that, so we had several put to sleep for no reason. Only a bad case of Worms...

That is horiable!!! I think vets are just like doctors!! Most of them really dont have a clue of what is actually wrong!!
Im very sad to hear something like that!! How can they mistaken parvo for worms!!!!
