...isn't that like pulling a skunk out of a skunk's ass? http://i97.photobucket.com/albums/l2...nd10/shrug.gif

There have been times the last couple years, where I wished that I was still at my first job....and even my second job. :roll3: One would mean I was a "Rancher" in Montana and the other would mean I am counting the weeks until retirement. :D |
Yesterday's clothes failed the morning whiff test. I broke out the baking soda and it didn't seem to have any effect. By the end of the day, the truck was smelling pretty ripe again. Oh well, at least I'm not spending my nights in it too.

Try getting some white vinegar and mix it with some water and wash everything down with it. You may try using throwing some baking soda on the carpet, if you have carpet. I would wash down everything, seats, dash, windows, everything. I try to not hire smokers due to the smell. If I put one in a truck and my wife goes in the truck afterward, then she tends to have difficulty breathing because she is allergic to smoke. I have managed to go over everything with vinegar and that usually does the trick. Sometimes I may need to do it more than once.

Try being a seafood hauler. All of our trucks smell to some extent
|
That reminds me, freebirdrfd. Spreading coffee grounds around in the truck might also help get rid of the smell. I have used coffee grounds in a trailer that had some strange odor before and it seemed to work.

a clothes drier sheet may help some.

Alternate idea: Make sure he paid the extra for the insurance on the truck, then go TOTAL the sumbitch! They will HAVE to get you another truck! LOL. |
Wanna play a little game? I like games. Do you like games? Let's play a game.
This game is like an IQ test. The trick to winning this game is to recognize patterns. I turned in stinkbomb #2 today and picked up a 2011 International with only 82,000 miles on it. It's a good truck. It's only got one tiny little issue. Can you guess what that tiny little issue is? I'm only going to give you one hint. It rhymes with spalinks, pinks, dinks, rinks, finks, minks, winks and kinks. Remember, it's an IQ test, you're supposed to pick up the pattern here. |
3rd time in a row? ....is it okay to laugh yet? http://i97.photobucket.com/albums/l2...10/s6vhaha.gif
http://i97.photobucket.com/albums/l2.../loudlaugh.gif ............... sorry....... http://i97.photobucket.com/albums/l2...nd10/point.gif I know I wouldn't be laughing if it were me. |
