Yoopr, I heard that mentioned in passing last week, but have seen nothing in print on it yet. Any sources? I've been watching this story closely and was wondering about that one myself.

It is one of 3 things. 1. She is dead and very well hidden. But I find that one hard to swallow Aruba isn't that big. 2. She was mad about something and just up and disappeared like that one person they found not to long ago who had been missing for a few years. Or she was as mentioned sold into white slavery. Which I also find hard to believe!

Of the three, I can't see her simply up and leaving because she was mad. Not enough fits, to think that's what happened and it's been too long. We're talking about an 18-year old, ready to go out on her own with a full ride to medical school. That's not the kind of person that just disappears. Besides, if that were the case, the four in custody would have long been released.

No, I am certain it's one of the other two possibilities. Whatever the case, the dutch boy and his cohorts know what happened to her and someone needs to do some serious leaning on them to find out what. I heard on the news yesterday that tourism is actually up that last two weeks because people are curious and lots of people have gone there to look for her. But that won't last long and as people begin to think more and more that the government is covering up, tourism will go south in a hurry.

The hardest thing, I'll bet, is not knowing. I can't even imagine what the parents are going through right now. :sad:

Like many American women, she was wooed by a guy with a foreign accent. Unfortunately, this guy turned out to be mr. tall, dark, and PSYCHOTIC. She wanted a little 1-on-1 romantic beach nookie, but Mr. Psycho "owed" his Hindu buddies some favors, and tried to make it a gangbang... which she resisted. Main remaining question are a) how exactly did they murder her--strangulation, bludgeoning, drowning, stabbing...? and b) WHERE is her body? (Presumably a rich kid like van Der Sloot has access to one or more BOATS... add in 20' of anchor chain and they might NEVER find her... )

This Van Der Sloot kid is over-developed physically for his age, and reputedly has an "anger management" problem. But he's under-aged for both drinking and driving. That's where the older East Indian brothers come in--they get him "inside" the clubs and casinos, and chauffer him around... in exchange for...? Connect the dots. Unfortunately the limp-wristed Dutch legal system has eschewed capital punishment, so they can't threaten him with that. Sad.

For some reason, Natalee (atypical spelling) wears a LOT of black eyeliner, even way more than any of her classemates. Not sure if that's relevant, but it's certainly conspicuous in all photos of her, and may be indicative of her self-image or outlook on life...????

Well, that's about all the macabre conjecture and amateur detective work I can stomach today. Pray for the best, prepare for the worst.
