Samsung makes big trucks transparent in the name of road safety | The Verge

Sounds like a decent, neat idea.......but I can see it being a bit of a bain on us drivers who like to slow way down and roll the traffic or lights. People behind will be able to see that HUGE gap and cut around us, making the rolling a bit tougher. On the flip side, instead of the super trucker behind me on my case and ICC bumper for holding HIM up, he can see its not me but another dingo ahead of me!

Though this tech may be about 10 years too late to do much good with the automated trucks already ramping up. What good is a TV on the back when automated vehicles aren't that far off? Maybe instead put a satellite on the truck and watch regular TV shows while the car drives itself?
