We had a prison break here in NY about 2 weeks ago and they still haven't caught the two escapee's,(life sentence for murder) last I heard there were still up around Clinton Co. I have a hunting camp a long way from there and spent the weekend there, I was really surprised when a group of heavily armed (M16's and H&K MP5's) came walking into my camp!
I didn't know it but at least one had been seen a few miles away so the LEO's are out in force. I spent about 2 hours driving logging roads and trails showing 2 US Marshals where cabins and trailers are and checking on them. One camp we stopped at has a cabin in the center and four campers spread out around it. One of the marshal's went left and the other went right and I followed him. The very first trailer he reached out and tried the door and it opened! He swung his MP5 up and just before entering glanced at me, I was holding steady in a low ready position ten feet to his right. After clearing it he came out and said "I didn't know you were carrying" I replied "you never asked"! We got along pretty good but they made sure I stayed with the truck after that![]() I might be to old to run around in the woods, but not to old to drive in em!

…don't let them sneak up on you, you need to have an edge!

I would have thought the police would have caught these prisoners before now. I have been watching the reports on the news. I would certainly be careful in that part of the world, repete. The way gun laws are in NY, I am a little surprised they didn't arrest you when they found you were "packin."

It might have gotten real interesting had they arrived about 15 minutes earlier. I had just sighted in a new scope on my wife's AR15 and then we had some fun with a dozen exploding targets. Made a lot of noise, kinda sounded like a small war with both guns firing and the targets blowing up. They did wonder what was going on, but seemed cool with that. A couple of them had never seen Tannerite before and didn't know anything about it. If you've never heard about it check it out on u tube. yeah we b a couple o woodchucks!

They'll probably have a drone stationed over my cabin 24/7 now, bummer. Guess I gotta find a new hide out.

They don't like the AR's in New York. They seem disappointed that so few who own them have bothered to register their guns. Yep, you probably have a drone over your head right now. You could use it for target practice. After all, you only mistook it for a bird??!!
