I was coming down Mt Ashland northbound yesterday and one driver was on the radio complaining about ODOT putting down antifreeze. Forecast was for snow (it was snowing up on top) and freezing temps. What a whiney butt. Then coming down the hill was two drivers from Klime Trucking out of Rio Linda, CA. running about 50-55 mph. One of them thought it was ok to run 5 feet behind his buddy. Yes, I said 5 feet. Downhill in moderate traffic on I-5 at 55+ mph. I got down to the Petro to use the restroom and looked up the company phone number for Klime. I called and no one answered and I left a statement about their driver's inability to be safe in his following distance. A half hour later I get a call and it's one of the two drivers. He's speaking to me with a russian accent I found hard to understand, but he's trying to blame me for lane changing or something to that effect. I told him he doesn't even have any idea which truck I was in, because I never changed lanes anywhere near them. I told him if I see them running down the highway like that again, I won't hesitate to put a 911 call in for a DUI driver in a big rig. He didn't like me threatening him. I told him he was threatening everybody else's safety with his disregard for safety. My wife travels certain stretches of I-5 everyday several times a day and if I have to make a call on another driver because they can't seem to remember they're driving a commercial rig and should be setting examples, then so be it.

Makes ya wonder what kind of dirt bag operation it is whan the company dosn't even answer the phone and then the driver whose being complained about calls the complainer! It might be a good thing they don't know who you are.
