Merry Christmas everyone!! I hope all of you make it home for Christmas. It is a time to be with family and friends. I always make a point of being home on Christmas. So many people get caught up with the frenzy of buying presents and forget about the real reason for Christmas. We celebrate the birth of our Savior on this day. The birth of a child so many centuries ago changed our world forever. My wife and I were talking today about all the things that we have to be grateful. There are so many of our fellow Americans who are suffering and having such a difficult time. I wish all of you a very Merry Christmas and hope that each of you make it home so that you can spend the holiday with your families. Those who are caught in the bad weather, it is my hope that you can make it home or at your destination safe.

Merry Christmas everyone! I finally managed to get something for my dad that he REALLY loved receiving. A photo was pasted on Facebook earlier this year of a firetruck (local volunteer department). He's the 'non-Santa' on top of the truck. This photo was from 1969.

Power has been knocked out several times over the weekend winter storm, and I was able to get past the "not able to get online" withdrawals.
After a few days of not logging in, I began to "see things" more clearly, and food tasted better.
