I used my noggin to help myself
I had a delivery/pickup at the same location today, and, as scheduled would have had plenty of time to make it to our terminal this evening, where I could jump in my car and go get some dinner. So, that's exactly how I planned my day. Too bad the shipper didn't follow through, though. My load won't be ready until tomorrow morning, which means I'm stuck sitting here until then. Without any food besides a couple of Little Debbie snack cakes.
I was going to unhook the trailer and bobtail down US-1 in Savage, MD to find something to eat, but really didn't want to deal with that. That's when I remembered that Domino's Pizza delivers!!! Waiting on a sandwich, desert and a drink (plus a bottle of water so I can make coffee in the morning). Hehehehe And, yes, I *will* have a microwave in this truck Tuesday morning when I get back into the truck after the Labor Day weekend.

I've ordered Papa Johns & Jimmy Johns. The delivery drivers get a kick out of it..."Find the big red Peterbuilt".

i've ordered chinese food to the truck.. a few times. but damn is it stressful explaning.. THE BIG WHITE TRUCK! I'M THE ONLY ONE HERE. lol did it one time while at a cold storage wharehouse. "just bring it to door 10"

There is a Papa John's in Savage that delivers. There is also a Chinese place next to the Papa John's that delivers. Keep that in mind for next time. And don't ask how I know, LOL.

I really like to order delivery when I'm stuck at a Loves. It usually starts a wave of orders. I hate Subway!
