I'm not a car naming or truck naming kind of guy. I did name the engine in my straight truck though. It's called The Power Plant. I didn't plan to name it, it just happened. We're talking 7.6 liters of pure unadulterated snoozing in a hammock kind of power that speaks to me saying things like:
"Hey man, I don't laugh at you when you're grunting and groaning" "I'm saving the turbo for when we really need it" "It's not my fault you were too poor to buy a real truck" "Don't you eyeball me boy" I hope the love affair has just begun.

As a four-wheel driver, I admit to having named my rides. My first car was a golden lass, hence Kelly (after the daughter in Married with Children). My next car was Black Metal... because it was. I just got a new silver subcompact, with no name yet. It'll come to me :P

I've called a number of the trucks I've driven some names, but I can't post them here because of the content filters.

Consider your self lucky you've got the 7.6L, we've got 2 trucks with 6.0Ls and one has a panic attack (literally) whenever you put a half decent load behind it. This past spring we did a turbo in each of them, both trucks have less than 55,000 Km's on them.

I don't have a truck as I am just getting into trucking but I did name my car The Tank. Basically because it could handle anything, was green, and was kinda large and old. Its got some problems now but hopefully he will keep on going.
