T/A ROANOKE VIRGINIA I-81 EXIT 150:

i don't think this parking lot is laid out very well. They claim 129 spaces. And they fill up rather fast. If you're not there by say 8 pm you may want to keep rolling. i think the parking situation here is atrocious. If you can get here early AND get a space on the outer edges of the lot, not in the middle, then it may be ok to park here, otherwise i would seriously think about moving on to another truckstop.

Food, ok Chopped steak dinner---$11.33, tipped $2. i guess one good thing about these Country Pride restaurants is you can get a second serving on all (most?) entrees. Salad bar ok, but limited selection. Iron skillets are better in this department.

i can't comment on the cleanliness and condition of the other areas---lounge, bathrooms etc. because i didn't stick around to observe them, But based on memories from my last time here, i was not impressed.


i would say 2.5 stars out of 5.
