For all of you hundreds of CADsters that have been waiting with baited breath, it's finally out! Ok, so I took a little creative licensing with that comment. For the couple of you that have expressed interest, the book is finally live. I held it in my hot little hands for the first time on Monday and we had our first book signing on Tuesday, where we promptly packed the library and sold out our stock of 30+. Yeah, this has been a really, really, REALLY good and fun week.
The book is called Hade's Gambit and it's online at both Amazon and Barnes and Noble. If you want to know what it's about, here's the dust jacket blurb:
All signs indicate the Earth is in her final days. Prophecies are being fulfilled in rapid succession, violence reaches into peaceful communities, nations tumble, natural disasters abound, and the forces of evil are marshaling their forces in preparation for the final conflict.
Their leader in this war is Hade, a colossus in both size and intellect. With unlimited resources, the latest advances in experimental biotechnology, and command over an army of evil spirits that exists on the other side of this mortal veil, he has spent countless years preparing to usher in the end of days.
But Hade's greatest weapon comes from an unlikely source. He possesses the lost scriptures which God commanded John to seal up from the book of Revelation. These passages reveal the true depths of the horror to come, and they foretell the emergence of Three Kings who hold the potential to either fulfill the biblical promise of a thousand years of peace or to ensure a millennial reign of hell on earth.
It's currenty available in hardback and paperback; e-book is being formatted and should be released in a couple weeks. We're still working on setting up an audio version, but that's a ways in the future. Yes, there is a trucker in the book and yes, he is b!tching about his DAC report.
So there you have it...finally. If anyone is wanting a personalized copy, just send me a PM and we'll make whatever arrangements need to be made. If anyone does pick it up, all I ask is that you just let me know what you thought. If you like it, share it. Hopefully, this thing will turn into a freight train and you can all say "Hey, I knew that guy when he was busting my balls as a Mod God on CAD! "
All the best and thanks, Clee, for letting me yack about it.
