Hello to all,

Just thought I would introduce myself, I am Lori. No I am not a driver but up until last week I did work for a O/O and fell in love with the trucking world. I pretty much did everything from dispatch, IFTA taxes and handling his finances. Things ended in a bad way and was not a pretty site. But anyway, I learned a lot and have even looked in to being a broker (thats a scary thing). I hope to find something again I miss the job but not the head aches for the mess he was in. Anyway moving on, I am from Wisconin or as I have been told the artic LOL. I have 3 grown kids and 3 wonderful grandson, I work full time with the disabled and hope to jump back in to some form of trucking stuff.

Thanks, it could be worse. Hoping to get out of Wisconsin maybe next year but time will tell. Looking for bigger and better than small town living.

Actually, there's a lot to be said for "small town living". Especially if you're raising kids. Mine grew up in Marathon County, in a rural setting. Much easier being a parent there than among everything I see here in a meto area.

Very true it was a good place to raise my kids, my youngest will be graduating next year and that leaves me with a empty nest. So hoping to move on and spread my wings. :-)
