I grew up in the woods roughing it as a Cub Scout then as a Boy Scout. If there is one thing I learned well, pack for anything and everything. Yes, you can pack like that in 1 hiking backpack. We had to "survive" for 3 days, 2 nights with whatever we packed, easy. The next time we did it, we did it without tents and as a troop so we were allowed to pool our supplies and divey up who needed to bring what beforehand. Again, easy. We did both in the summer and winter, we even did it a few times where we were allowed to bring very minimal supplies as if it was more life and death and use what was around us to survive.

My f-in-law's idea of roughing it is if the Hampton Inn doesn't have a coffee pot..........

Finally get to try out the camper this weekend. We were originally going camping last weekend, but it decided to rain most of it. We'll probably see rain this evening, though, just as it's time to set up the campsite. Yay, right? Saturday and Sunday look great though.
