You know....................(smh)................if the road is nothing but muck then why continue just because the GPS tells you to?
I guess if you have a GPS you can then unplug your brain? My brothers told him to exit I-40 right into the side of a granite mountain. If he had been like these 3 tools he'd be dead, in fact he ended up ripping the GPS off the dash and throwing it out the window because it kept telling him to turn around for the next 15 miles. For some reason some GPS's and even Google Maps will show overhead wires as a roadway.

Y'all KNOW my feelings about these GPS systems. IMHO.... any of you who get burned deserve it! I have warned you MANY times. If ONSTAR* (where I worked for many years) can't get it right... and even the military version has failed us many times... what makes you think your "bit-ch in the box" can save you? I give my co-driver hell about this every day. It seems he believes he couldn't find his way to the local store without "her." I can find my way anywhere in this great country WITHOUT her!
HE can't find an interstate "split" without HER. I don't NEED her to tell me how to follow a road/route! I've always relied heavily (when needed) on an Atlas to find routes and distances. I've NEVER been led astray! GPS systems (though useful at times,) could be the final death nail to this industry. Especially if that "commie" Socialist Obama has HIS way!

I am very concerned that too many driver rely on their GPS and can't think for themselves. I learned to read a map at a very young age. I expect that I will continue using my Rand McNally to find my way.
