MDX Customer Service in Florida and Fraudulent bills
#1
I have gotten several bills this year from the Miami Florida Toll Road Authority which have been fraudulent. They have a picture of a license tag that is from Florida with a "FLEET" at the bottom. It just so happens that the tag number matches my vehicle here in Texas.
Anybody else have this problem?

Getting if off is easy, at least until next quarter.
You send an e-mail to their customer service, with the subject "MISTYPE" and include you account and invoice number. And next business day you get an e-mail apologizing and saying that the bill has been taken off. At least until next quarter. The lawyers I talked to wouldn't touch it until it goes over a certain dollar amount - like a $1,000.00 billing or if they threaten legal action. Why, I would have to pay the fees necessary to find out who actually owns the vehicle in question. BTW, I already tried that and I would have to pay some fees and meet certain legal requirements. Just had a thought, For you guys going thru florida especially near Miami look for a vehicle with Florida tags - License # GDD048 - with the word "FLEET" on the bottom. Let me know what kind of vehicle it is and if what if any markings it has.
