1976 was NORMAL? Even though I was only 8 years old at the time, I distinctly remember almost 4' of snow (it was higher than I was tall) at least THREE times in one winter.

I've said this before and I'll say it again: Yes, the climate is changing. In fact, it's been changing for the past 4.65BILLION years that the planet has existed. 30,000 years ago, there was glaciers over a mile thick on Long Island. 40million years ago, Long Island was a tropical island.
