A little something on the side?

Trucking sure does have limitations when it comes to part time work. It's hard to pick up a few shifts at the local Quicky Mart when you can't say for sure what days you'll be available to work. Add to that the fact that any hours you commit to gainful employment comes off your 70.
So, I have a question. Does anyone have experience with part time work that you can actually accomplish while you're driving? If you've found something you can do "two things at once", does it have any impact on your HOS? Consider this guy who took up cooking while driving, for instance: Semi stopped; meth labs found inside - The Madison Courier Daily Newspaper - Madison, Indiana - Madison, IN

Kentucky State Police arrested a man driving a tractor-trailer with two methamphetamine labs in the sleeper part of the truck, the KSP said in a press release.
How would you have two meth labs in the same bunk? Was each one seperated from the other?

Google "mini meth lab" The results may surprise you.
