Default hubby lost his job - who might hire?

My husband drove for 2 years and was then "land bound" for a little over 2. GTI hired him back on in April 2011, unfortunately he had an accident. Bobtailing, he and a car collided at less than 10mph. It was considered the fault of the other driver by the CHP officer but he was attempting a U-turn which he was not aware he should not do. Anyway, GTI was keeping him on and then 3 weeks later terminated him for the same accident.

Can anyone suggest a company/ companies that may hire him? We live in San Diego. Celadon was going to take him but he did not have the minimum 9 months in the last 3 years.

I would appreciate replies that would like to sincerely help.

Thanks so much...

He might try Melton. They're flatbed, but will take new people. Good luck.

I considered going there myself at one time. A bit late now, but I still think about it every now and then when things get slow with small engines.

Actually, the walker folds up. Doesn't take much at all room that way.
But, the hovaround is a different story. That may have to use the whole foredeck on the step. I had to modify it in order to keep up with the lawn mowers that pop wheelies when you engage the "self-propel", so there's small acert with a ZTR hydrostatic. Currently trying to fit it with a roll-cage so I can take it to Daytona.

Young fella down the street went to school almost a year ago and started with Melton. Been with them a couple of months now, and he's happy. Yeah, I know he doesn't have any other experience to compare it with, but what I saw with their equipment isn't bad at all. He said they're getting new equipment in a couple of months, and he's in line for a new Pete himself. Tbrown's husband might have a chance there as well, because they do run all 48.
