I can't believe it! The first picture tells the story.
WBTV's Slideshows - WBTV 3 News, Weather, Sports, and Traffic for Charlotte, NC- I'm sure there's a story attached somewhere.... but.... just look at these pics! (and read the subtitles.) Be careful out there, folks! This really IS a "dangerous business."

I've seen a couple where the driver was able to get out without injury. I've also seen one where the polyester clothing acted like "heat-shrink tubing" and had to be cut away.
According to the captions, the fire started because the fuel tank hit the guard rail. The loud "POP" before that.... A tire?
