I like the big bands of the 30's and 40's. They were elaborate bands that were very popular at the time. At one time I had a book of albums of the big name bands from that era. When I was a kid I could listen to those bands for hours.

Me too GMAN! I was weened on that music.
My parents had Glenn Miller and his Orchestra on 33 1/3 rpm albums on the HiFi "tube" stereo.
We had black & white TV then, and you would see lots of shows where they had Big Bands playing.
Here is one of Glenn Miller, called "In The Mood"
…people did dress better back then too!
