Glad you like it Hog, I saw Beck play at Red Rocks back in 1980, back when it was a general admission arena we got there the night before and partied into the am, slept for a while and woke up to do it again before the show, were in the 8 th row, a week later we did it again and were in the 13th row for Jake & Elwood "The Blues Brothers"..
Not sure if Shawn Phillips is your style or not but I have always admired his music ever since my older brother turned me onto him way back in the late 70's Shawn Phillips Tribute - YouTube By the way how are you feeling these days? I truly hope all is well for you.. Last edited by Kentla93; 08-29-2011 at 03:50 AM.

Just went and saw Ronnie Dunn the other day and he put on a great show. I would have gone to see his opening act playing by themselves though. Quite easy on the eyes, these three Australian sisters are hitting the USA and they sound great. This video does not give their talent justice, they sounded better live. My opinion is they are the next Dixie Chicks.

Well, they're certainly easy on the ears. Thanks for sharing!
I love me some Dixie Chicks, especially that bluegrass album they did. Anyone remember this scorcher? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eWFkSKl960Y

Get this, at a district seminar for workers at Texas Department of Human Services back in the mid 1990's they had about 500 of us learn it and the fastest learners were pulled up front to perform in front of everyone. I was one of 5 pulled up front for this. Can no longer perform it due to fibromyalgia, Restless Leg Syndrome, arthritis and problems with my brain in keeping up any movements (such as singing or speaking or dancing) that are supposed to be faster than a certain rate.

This reminds me of the other day, at a family function, we put this kids dance Wii game on. All my 5 sisters, my mother and all the little kids were dancing to this song. They tame it down for kids. But it was still fun, especially with some liquid courage(for the adults).

The video doesn't quite do the words justice, but I love this song, reminds me of my Trucker!

Hey, I like that Dixie Chicks song quite a bit. I always knew I'd like a bluegrass song one day.
I think I'll hear it again when I'm done posting this. :thumbsup:Ray Manzarek making his keyboards sound like falling rain and John Densmore doing what he always did, adding nuance and originality to every song. And then there's Morrison's vocals... Love him or hate him. One of Robbie Krieger's better songs too imho. Like one commenter said "Best song to listen to drunk".
