I guess it's getting close to me saying goodbye to CAD. It all started with a mass exodus of members, then turned to the site being blocked by Google for malware and now the only way I can visit the site is to turn my pop-up blocker off before coming to the forum page.

Oh well - it's been fun while it lasted...

 

I am also finding that I'm not getting to this site as often, and not posting as much. I can't say I've seen as much of "new members" coming aboard like there used to be. Either the industry is not producing as many new drivers, or they are going somewhere else instead. The sense of humor also seems to have gone by the wayside. Of course, the "attack page" warning has not helped any either.

 

i got banned at the truckersreoprt. Those mods are something else.

 

I went to truckersreport a couple times - didn't quite suit me. I'm over at, well, won't say on here.

Are any of you still getting the warnings or having difficult logging into the forum? I thought that IB had resolved the problem.

 

I don't think that there has been a mass exodus of members. I don't see as many members posting here are fewer people posting. Things tend to slow somewhat during certain times of the year. That is a normal cycle. I believe the attack problems have had more to do with people leaving or not posting than anything else. I would like to see some of our members post more, but some prefer reading rather than posting. Perhaps they don't have anything to say.

 

I use an addon with Firefox called AdBlock Plus. With it enabled now and come to the CAD site, all I see is the very top menu bar and the very bottom menu bar. Apparently the rest of it is all embedded deep into the ad sites.

Upon looking at the history in AdBlock, this appears to be the main filter it's kicking out here:

No damn wonder I keep getting spam now that's offering me nursing school...

 

Oh how nice, the middle site is in Malaysia, the first is San Jose St and the last is German. Good luck tracing those down.

 

well gman i still here and not having any problems since the "this site may harm your computer" problem has been fixed :thumbsup: i just been doing a lot of overtime to pay for this highspeed snail's pace internet service :thumbsdown:
