Bet they had to fumigate and disinfect that cab before they could get anyone else to drive it, regardless of whether it had been repaired or not, cuz you KNOW that driver filled his pants. = P

It's a good thing that the trailer was empty! There would have been some fatalities if it hadn't been!
Don't go buying "Former" Pepsi trucks next year! Especially International "condo" trucks!!

Tollway Crash Video Released What I did experience was a loud bang and impact. I didn't see anything in my right side mirror, so I put on my 4 ways, slowed, and safely stopped on the highway shoulder about a 1/2 mile from the crash. Only after I got out of the truck, viewed the damage, and called 911 did I see the Washington State Incident Response truck pushing a disabled car up the shoulder to the off-ramp. A WSP officer took our statements where the other driver admitted fault. The car driver was issued a "unsafe lane change" ticket and his insurance covered all damages. I was able to drive back to my company's yard where our mechanic removed what was left of the passenger side door and catwalk steps and continue my trip to SoCal.

ouch, looks like the wind might have cought that car, I find it hard to beleave even a 4 wheeler would be stupid enough to change lanes where he/she did. well, unless they were stupid enough to text or hold that cell up to thier ear while driving.

Holy Smackeral!
Even with the trailier being empty, that was very nearly a head-on and would have certainly killed someone. There was some hellish defensive driving going on there to avoid that truck. I hate to say it, but it was a good thing that it laid down. As far as the Nissan that caused it...WTF were they doing?!?
