Merlin Olsen, NFL defensive end and actor, passed away.
I remember watching him on Little House on the Prairie.
He also played in The Undefeated, with John Wayne.
My dad has told me that Merlin was one heck of a defensive end. Pretty good actor, too.

Merlin was one of the BEST defensive tackles of his day! But, he was GAY. :hellno:

Now... WHY should that matter? He won games for them. He was as physical (or moreso) than any player of his time.

Although not a GREAT actor, Merlin attacked his roles with PASSION, and intelligence.

But HIS day of NFL football, will NEVER again be seen!

His football days was before my time. Everything you said about how good he was is all I ever heard. They say he was something else!
