Default Union Label

My wife and I were talking about a commercial that used to air about buying clothing with the union label inside. It was a catchy commercial. I guess it didn't work. Most of those jobs are now outsourced to cheap labor countries and imported. I was wondering if anyone remembers that commercial?

I think I remember the commercial. You know, just a few days ago I was reading somewhere that the US doesn't manufacture any of it's own cotton. We grow it, ship it to other countries, they manufacture it and send back the finished product. I wish I could remember where I read that.

I've been doing a lot of reading from various sources both internet and local papers during my little stint of unemployment and getting more frightened of this countries future everyday. I actually enjoy reading the paper more than the internet.

Looks like you're joining me on the unemployment line today GMAN? Where's the soup line?

Wonder why those guys were there, if it's the Ladies Garment Union? Oh wait....nevermind. I got it. :hellno:
I don't remember that commercial. Seems like I remember the tag on some clothes.
It's really bad when you ship cotton (and other stuff) over to China, Taiwan, and other places to make the products, while our own Americans are out of work.
