I've been thinking of getting this Italian-redo of an 1858 Remington as well.
The technology on those particular models were ahead of their time.

The Italian copies are made really well... lots of SASS shooters using them.

Mackman was right! When I bought my used Excursion he said I would trade my GMC for a superduty. I love the Excursion and now I hope I love my new Powerstroke Diesel even more!

Here's my bike. Still waiting to hear from the insurance adjuster. Anyway, boy am I glad to be home from the hospital.
And yes, that is half of a pair of $150 Ariat cowboy boots the paramedics cut off, along with a $400 Harley jacket and an almost new pair of jeans. The drawers I was wearing were old so I am OK with those being cut off me.

Some moron ran a stop sign and I T-boned his pick up. I broke almost every bone in my left foot, 6 ribs on the left side, shoulder blade and collar bone broke, lacerated spleen, head trauma (no helmet), and some really cool scars on my face.
At least the vehicle I hit had insurance, and I always carry full coverage on mine even after they are paid off.
Depending on the settlement I might look for an Ultra Classic this time.
I also think I changed my thoughts on wearing my helmet. The trauma doc and neuro doc say I am the luckiest biker they know in over 20 years of practicing emergency medicine.
