Mackman was right! When I bought my used Excursion he said I would trade my GMC for a superduty. I love the Excursion and now I hope I love my new Powerstroke Diesel even more!

Here's my bike. Still waiting to hear from the insurance adjuster. Anyway, boy am I glad to be home from the hospital.
And yes, that is half of a pair of $150 Ariat cowboy boots the paramedics cut off, along with a $400 Harley jacket and an almost new pair of jeans. The drawers I was wearing were old so I am OK with those being cut off me. Last edited by Jay B; 04-20-2010 at 10:17 AM.

Some moron ran a stop sign and I T-boned his pick up. I broke almost every bone in my left foot, 6 ribs on the left side, shoulder blade and collar bone broke, lacerated spleen, head trauma (no helmet), and some really cool scars on my face.
At least the vehicle I hit had insurance, and I always carry full coverage on mine even after they are paid off. Depending on the settlement I might look for an Ultra Classic this time. I also think I changed my thoughts on wearing my helmet. The trauma doc and neuro doc say I am the luckiest biker they know in over 20 years of practicing emergency medicine. |
