I'm the 4679th member to join.

At least that is the Inmate number on my orange CAD jump suit.
I'm serving a life sentence with no parole, and only allowed in general population
with a muzzle, straight jacket, and shackled to a hand truck.
( not to mention the maximum allowable anti-psychotic drugs
to prevent me from chewing through the mask )

Back in 2002... weren't Heartland Recruiters still using TRS-80's you put together from Radio Shack... and CAD was some form of programming?

I must have looked at TF's join date and thought it was mine.
I was Oct. 2005.
Think I'll have that second cup of coffee now.
I don't feel as old now though.

When I became aware this board existed, I joined. I can't help it that CAD doesn't advertise in the trucker's magazines. But, since I've been here, I've also seen other boards come and go. Reading what many of them had, there were always a few that were mods, that acted like Kings and Queens, and the rest were their subjects. The rules of posting applied to everyone but the mods.

I have to credit the success of this board to the mods here. They seem to stick by the set rules with little variation. And, they are not kings of this domain. They act more like real people. They put their pants on the same as I do, one leg at a time. Between them, and members that contribute, this board has had it's ups and downs, but seems to be one of the strongest going boards out here. And, member's contributions to the boards success does not seem to depend on how long that member has been here. There are a lot of people here whose opinions I respect, not just the mods, no matter what the join date is. And, it seems I'm not the only one.

Uh, anything in this general area right in here. Anything below the stereo and on this side of the bicentennial glasses. Anything between the ashtrays and the thimble. Anything in this three inches right in here in this area. That includes the Chiclets, but not the erasers. :block:
