I'm gonna reserve my response to this until after I've answered a few posts on another thread, cuz what I was going to respond with here would/will surely get me banned. And what I have to say on that other thread FAR outweighs the fun I would have "smacking" you back on this one! But.... you left yourself WIDE OPEN for a response.
And I won't forget. I don't always agree with everything you say but you have, at times, made me re-THINK my own stance on certain issues. In other words...don't take me so serious....I don't.

I don't know that I entirely agree with the "business" experience. Just plain COMMON SENSE. I've seen decisions made by business that make very little sense. Some of them have made even less sense than the things government has been doing.
Common sense seems to be in short supply with our elected representatives. I would prefer to see average people such as farmers, factory managers or truck drivers run for elected office. Our government was set up for those who are elected to be average citizens who would come and serve and then go back home to their lives. It was NEVER set up to provide a cash cow and huge retirement for those who were elected. The stimulus package has had very little effect at this level, and healthcare has even less effect. Can you point to any member of Congress or the Senate that has accurately put his/her finger on the problems? It's going to take someone "OUTSIDE OF CURRENT CONVENTIONAL WISDOM". And, business may not be any better answer than another attorney. Stating the problem would require these people to point a finger at themselves. They have failed miserably. They have failed to do what is right for the country while benefiting themselves.

Am I glad Obama was elected? yes. (although I didn't vote at all.) I had real problems with McCain... and especially Palin gaining the office when he had a heart attack. I don't LIKE being so serious, but surely you're aware of how serious my situation is right now. Your post came right in the middle of it. I believe that one of the greatest gifts one can give to another is an IDEA... that forces him to THINK..... especially to think for himself! Heck.... I'm probably wrong about at least 1/3rd of what I say and think! But, at least I'm trying it all on my own! We're cool. I'm sorry if I reacted defensively. But, you gotta admit.... that was a pretty SICK image you painted of me! :lol: I'm glad I didn't have to talk about Yo Mama! :lol2:

Thanks, Dave. I certainly couldn't remember ever having a problem with you before. I just didn't like the implication of your post.

If you believe some of the things said about me here lately (with impunity I might add,) or thought but not said (butt buddy was it?)... you'd know that I have a standing invite to the White House.... and probably not just the living room if you get my drift. :lol2:
