Default New Pilot coming to WV

Love living in a small area. Everything makes the front page news.

Anyway, they're building a new Pilot on I-79. By the way it sounds, it'll be at exit 105, which is also the same exit as the Jane Lew truckstop. The news said it'll open in early 2010.

I'm just glad that Pilot doesn't take TCH. That keeps me pretty well clear of all of them, unless I want coffee @ 2am.

Did Pilot Corp buy the Jane Lew truck stop or are they going to build an entirely new facility on the West side of I-79?

It's going to be a completely new one. I'm not sure which side of the interstate it'll be on, but the picture in the news showed that they've got a sign up for it. Shouldn't take long to figure out east or west, but I don't go that direction very often.

Well its been a while since I stopped there but if I remember right on the east side there was the truck stop and then across the street there was the restaurant. thus I don't believe there is any room on the east side for a new truck stop.

However, I never went on the west side either so I don't know what's available on the west side.

There's room further down that same road for a truckstop. More than likely, though, it'll go on the opposite side of the interstate.

Hate to burst your bubble but once the Pilot - Flying J merger is finalized they will take TCH. That has already been announced. I have already seen a few Flying J taking comdata. And I do not mean the independent ones either.

As small as they are it shouldn't take long to build it or maybe assemble it is the better phrase.

AMEN! Something around Covington or White Sulfur Springs would be nice, but I doubt that'll happen.
