You can usually park off to the side or in back of Wal-Mart Supercenters. Everyone has some type of resturant, mostly Subways which is pretty healthy or McD's where you can get a chicken salad or they have a few different places within walking distance of the store. If you get off I40 exit 141 in NC and go right then the first left there is a supercenter on the right. go to the top of the hill and go right then down past the gardencenter around back it looks very tight but when you get out back the lot is huge. Park next to the curb and walk to any number of resturants including a Hooters across the street. Just make sure there is not a "no truck parking" sign in the lot and honor it. Some wal-marts have gotten tired of truckers parking all over the lot and peeing or dumping pee bottles on the tar and have banned trucks and will have them towed. If you see a sign park over to the side and go into the store and ask to see the manager on duty and ask if its ok to park for an hour or so to do some shopping and eat. They will not have a problem with that about 90% of the time. If they say no then leave.

Yeah...I remember crossing the street to eat in the restaurant before but I can't recall if the food was good or not. Nevertheless, I avoided that place since because it was one of the very few places that I have found in the country where my verizon aircard couldn't pick up a signal for an Internet connection and so I had to go to bed early. Anyway, I wonder if that has changed by now? I need to check them out again I guess.

I also heard coach Rod say the other day also that his wife is from Jane Lew, WV.

If you are ever passing through Louisiana on I-10 and on a Friday, check out the Rice Palace at exit 80 in Crowley, LA. They have a pretty good seafood buffet. Warning, you may have to stop down the road and take a nap later on so don't be in too big of a hurry. The seafood gumbo served with potatoe salad and the crawfish etouffee is very good too if you don't want to kill yourself on the seafood buffet. The Po-Boys are pretty good too.

When I was OTR and for whenever I'm finally able to get back into it, pulling the bicycle out of the cab and cycling into the nearest small town to check out their local fare.

Fast-food wise, Jack In The Box, Del Taco, or Carls Jr.

Cool thing was the fact that when I was OTR, I was actually alot slimmer and healthier due to not being near a fridge the whole time.
That and the copious amount of exercise I performed during 10's and such.
