Default Memory Foam Seat Cushion

T/A's are selling seat cushions that are made of the memory foam material. The price is in the $20 range.

Has anyone on here gotten one? And, if so, how is it? Worth buying or stay clear of it?

I have one that my mom gave me. She got it from the hospital when she had surgery last year. I also have another cushion (not memory foam) from Wal-Mart. It worked fine, but nothing compared to the memory foam. If I had to get a new cushion, I would get a memory foam. If you need a cushion, I would go get a memory foam. I would say that the $20 is well worth it.

Ya - I'm one of the (un)lucky drivers with no natural cushion built into my backside. Damn me being blessed with having a slender body. Tell ya what - it sucks having a sore behind with a job that requires you to use it.

I'll stop tomorrow and pick one up if I go past a T/A.

Now this is my opinion, and have introduced many friends to this product. Air hawk seat cushion, or better yet its a air bladder. This is the best product I have ever used. The front of my legs don't go to sleep anymore, and it cures the tailbone discomfort while keeping the blood flowing to your tush, Oh, and my back feels better on those long days!!! It is a little pricey at $189.00 but if you cant afford the cost, then in my opinion something is wrong. I bought mine about a year ago for 105.00. Its well worth it in the long run just for the improved comfort, and the body saving relief just sitting in the truck can have on YOU!!!! Some things are just worth the high price....
Heres the link!!!!

It looks like it would be comfortable, but I don't think that it is worth over $100.

I think you are probably older like I am....lol
I would pay whatever to relieve the back and bottom pain sitting in a truck seat causes, you really have to sit in one and drive for a day and it will hook anyone....lol Its one of those products that is worth its weight in gold, so to speak!!!

My wife plans to start traveling with me again. We are trying to find something for her to use. For the difference in price, I think we may start with one of the memory cushions. Do you think the Airhawk improves your circulation or is it mainly for the level of comfort?

I looked throug my Iowa 80 catalog and they sell them there too. Sometimes there's a discount using a OOIDA coupon code. Although, shipping eats up most of the discount.

I picked one of the memory foam cushions up a couple of days ago. It was pretty comfortable - for a couple of hours. The problem is that it compresses and becomes even harder than the seat cushion that it's supposed to be cushioning. Also, because of it's thickness, it raises me up too high. If I let any air out of the seat to lower back down, the seat then bottoms out on these wonderful roads.

I may invest in the airhawk after all.
