Default School Bus Speed Limit

Question.. isn't there a national speed limit for school buses with kids on board?? the reason i ask the past two days two school buses WITH kids have blown my doors off at 70 mph plus!! NO BULL i got one video to prove!! One in West Virginia on 81 and the other on the Mass Pike outside of Worcester!!

I've never heard of a national speed limit for school buses.

IF they're limited at all it's usually because they're governed and the speed is determined on the local level.

As far as I know school buses can go as fast as other traffic. I have never heard of a national speed limit, either.

I think that is it right there. Local or State regulations on school buses.

Seems like Texas has some kind of something for busses. I've seen signs, but I never paid any attention.

Rabbit, I think You're referring to the limit on how many of the Junior High kids can be spitting their tobacco out the windows at ONE time!

Maybe it is a state thing but i know in virginia the fastest a bus can go with kids on is 55.. but that **** sure caught me off guard tho
