ravers were basically new wave hippies of the electronic dance music era. their credo was basically the same as the hippies of the 60's.
when i made the switch from trance to drum n bass, i was rejoicing because the dnb rooms didn't have any obnoxious kandie kids. it was all junglists and hard, heavy, broken beats. the only thing i find more obnoxious than kandie kids are crappy mc's who don't know how to shut the hell up, and/or keep repeating themselves.
