In tornado country, I've seen some very wild winds coming from all points of the compass within a one mile stretch of road. 43,000 of paper in a dryvan does not blow over easy, but the wind can push you over to the side without tipping you, then... LOOK OUT FOR THAT DITCH...
A sight to behold in WY was a covered wagon with 4 four-inch straps over the top of a Wal-Mart trailer to keep it from rolling over in a rest area.
In IA, along I-35... I parked between to over-sized loads of those huge tires, and went inside to eat. After the twister came though, I had tire marks on both sides of my trailer... The sides were pushed in slightly too. That one gained me a bit of attention when I got back to the yard.
Flatbed can be interesting too. Tarp your load so that you can do 70 mph with no problem, but park and let a twister go through, and you find your tarp in shreds, and nearly every bungee you had on the load snapped.
