I've had both and I prefer the HD. Absolutely the coolest cruising feeling in the world and beautiful machines to look at. But of course it wont outperform a crotch rocket in any way. Different strokes right!

Bring that POS to any track day, anywhere in California.

I wont even bring the Ducati, I'll show up with my 25 year old German touring bike & smoke your azz. If I can't lap you at least once in a session, I'll give you all my motorcycles & never ride again.

I'm talking about real life, where roads have turns in them.

I'd like to see that thing against a Hayabusa in the 1/4. I bet the 'Busa could take it.

And, that aint no Harley

Actually, after thinking about it, it probably sucks in the 1/4 too. If you could keep it straight & hooked up off the line it's probably unstable as he// at high speed. I don't think it would stand a chance against a 'Busa.

Sure you can! HONDA, true 100k-mile motor, like the Goldwing, VTX. I did the HD thing for many yrs but am stuck on the 1300S model.Same size bike as the Roadking and as many after market parts as the HD! Everything for the 2 Honda models are made right here in Marysville Oh. They employ American workers, who cares what they do with their profits! The only bad thing is Honda took their motorcycles plant back to Japan this year. In my opinion, the VTX is far superior to the HD models, just as sleek and MORE reliable, they have the same single pin crank that gives the sound everyone is looking for plus the power to boot! I have 12k in my bike including what I paid for it, bagged, pipes, intake and all the chrome and most HD riders think it is a HD when they are behind me trying to catch me...lol HD is just one example of a company ripping the public off for a product that should not cost this much!!!!! That plant you were talking about, assembles and makes few parts, so it means nothing for the MADE IN USA debate!!!

I remember taking my Sporty apart & finding bearings that said "Made in Romania"

It still makes me giggle to see all the "bro's" out there with all the U.S. flag stuff & know they are riding around on parts made in a communist country.

I really don't dislike Harley's, I just can't stand most of the people that ride them.
