Ohio one step closer to 65mph.

Farther into the article he was also brilliant with this statement;
Gawd I hope this guy isn't out there writing tickets!! And finally there was this gem! Hmmmmmmm.....cars are running into the back of trucks...yet a uniform speed limit would not reduce that!!! I thought Ohio was smarter than that. Guess not.

As mentioned before about Ohio, I expect IL to crack down on trucks, for a while at least, if the limit is raised to 65. Right now most state troopers in IL will allow trucks to go 62-65 in truly rural parts of the interstate (it is the locals and county cops you have to really watch) but if the law is passed I can see them start pulling over trucks at 2-3 mph over.

Where in the world did you hear that GMAN? My wife's neighbor in Ohio is a Statie and he laughed holy heck when I asked him about that. He said he'd have to look into that and if it was true he was going to give up his accident investigator duties and go back to working the highway. Said it must be something new, in his 17 previous years he hadn't ever heard of that.
You should have informed him that you read that info on a truck driving message board Mr. Ford! Then he'd have believed it, by golly!:lol: GMAN spending too much time on the big One Nine again..............:clap:

Be glad to see it...but, as stated earlier, I think they'll be tough on anything over 65. I run Ohio at 60 all day long and troopers are fine with it...when it goes to 65 think I'll stay at 64
