i dont think i have ever cruised thru the short 15 mile span of delware and not seen a big truck pulled over. i managed to avoid these guys for 5 years but they got me today... full grown shadowed me for a mile then put the chrismas lights on. got me for not having two straps on the first skid. cool cop actually he even said it was a silly ticket espcially when the skids are saran wraped and tarped but just following code. 75 buck fine. no biggy. he said he dosent expect to see me again, and he wont because for now on ill throw 2 straps over the first skid!

Yeah, that is my favorite stretch of road right there. Just hit up that little stretch of I-95 from the NJTP to the Maryland line about 5:30 in the afternoon, oh man.....good times.

Why on earth would anyone want to live in an area where they experience that 2 times per day, 5 days a week? Once in a great while is enough for me to want to start killing people.

Mal, you mean I-66, right?
It's rough stuff man, my wife drives it everyday and hates it but we can't find any jobs locally for her. I-95 from Fredericksburg to 495 is worse depending on the day and the time of day. Monday's aren't too bad but by Wednesday it starts getting real rough.

I haven't been on that stretch of Delaware in quite some time. Not that I have not been in Delaware, but I run 301 to the Bay Bridge. Cheaper than the bridge north of Baltimore, but DE has put in a scale just across the line from MD on 301. Haven't seen it open yet, but I expect that they will be quite dedicated when it first opens. But, it does get me around Baltimore, which gains me quite some time. All open country from the DE line almost down to the bridge. Sure beats the stop-n-go at Baltimore. Also avoids the toll on 95... Not that DE is all that high, until you figure out how much per mile for that short stretch.
