Default Pick your spotter wisely!!!

Well here I am at stop 1, a construction site. Looked OK coming in, big dirt lot. Until they tell me, ohh bring your rig up to the top of that hill up there and we will unload you at that building up there. So the construction guy says he will spot me, yeah he spotted my drives right into a soft dirt patch on a small hill, not to mention the plastic piping that is now all tangled up in my landing gear!!! And to make it worse, I now have a flat drive, and the pins on my crane arms broke!!!

This day started off on the WRONG side of the sleeper

I just got done laying down a bunch of wood under my drives, but I cant try to get out until the guy comes back from the store with a strap.

As I sit looking all around,
Confusion and uncertainty is all I found.
The answers are there,
But I do not know where.
Optimistic and hopeful dreams,
Are all I have so it seems.
The future I do not know,
So all I can do is take it slow.
But I do know it will work out,
So I wait and watch without a doubt

Sorry to hear that. I drove for SMX for a while, several years ago. I never liked going to construction sites.
I'd tell that dumb "spotter", to get a front-end loader, or some other type of equipment, and pull you out. (if that's an option)
Construction guys are smart, I mean ya know, they can build anything, but not much common sense.

Yeah I got them to move a few pallets of cinder blocks out of my way and I was able to get it out. Now I have to go get this tire patched, the crane fixed, and head to stop 2.

Ok tire is fixed, they patched it and I got them to check all of my tires air pressure for only $35! Now I have to wait on this company to call me back about the trailer. If they don't call me in the next 10 min I am just going to start heading for grand junction.

I never go into a site unless I get out and walk in first if it's a place I haven't been to before. I look for obstacles ahead of time and get them moved before I come in if it's safe for me to get in and back out under my own power. If I don't think I can get in and back out under my own power then the load comes off on the road or it goes back to the yard.
