I don't see anything racist about it and I think Fox is blowing this out of proportion but see for yourself!

Maybe someone can explain to me how it is when someone who is white (or any other skin color except black) says the "N" word they are being racist but when a black says it they aren't, or how if a black calls a white person a honkey, cracker, etc they are not being racist. While you are at it would someone explain to me what they term "reverse racism" is suppose to mean. Yes I know the definition but what is it really suppose to mean. IMHO opinion terms like this only further to increase the divide among people of various skin color as well as letting BS such as the crud coming from the mouth of these rappers and people like Al Sharpten, etc. Sure the want to spout how there is a need for true equality and how they are fighting everyday for it, but lets get real. They are only making things worse and until the day comes where negative terms used to describe someone because of their skin color or religion are no longer used and only terms to describe a person is used there never will be any real equality.

You are both right. Fox news was pointing a light at the rappers for their highly racist song and Obama for not speaking out against it since he was the one who has been promising a new era across the board for America.

Why are they considered RACIST? They use the "N" word, but they are singing to the choir. No racism there.
They said good riddance to Bush. So did I! They showed some overexhuberant PRIDE in the fact that their president is Black. He IS! I wouldn't say that the FoxNews report was racist, but it WAS condescending. They thought it was newsworthy to point out that a select few of Obama's race went a bit overboard in their celebration, and wanted to point out the fact that this somehow disparaged ALL members of that race (as well as our president) and that somehow this reflected badly on Obama and his accomplishment of becoming president. What I got from this "report" (and I use the term loosely,) is that they are just LOOKING for a reason to show that electing a black president will give minorities a reason to "show their true colors" as opposed to elevating them to a position of pride and equality. Rather than focus on the majority of responses by minorities to this accomplishment, they chose to sensationalize an ISOLATED incident, and "report" it with an "I TOLD you so" slant! And in that regard, it IS being RACIST. But then, who expected less from FOX??

Jay-Z and Young Jeezy are exactly why I prefer to be living in small towns where it's nice and quiet.
I wouldn't call these guys rappers, they're just phoney puppets to the record companies that are over-hyped, over-priced, and use the same, tired lyrical stylings that are influenced by synthesizers. You want real hip-hop? Try "Jurassic 5", "Deltron 3030", and any group prior to 1995. As far as Obama winning, I'm an Asian who's commonly mistaken for being black and I voted for McCain, but we'll all just have to deal with this outcome our own way.

I think the term racist may be a little strong.........would a white guy be considered racist if he doesnt like his daughter dating/marrying a person of another race? i dont even know the answer to that myself........ But the guy who live is central montana who is part of the KKK..yeah i would consider that guy a racist. The guy on the CB who uses the N word but then will talk to you while you stand in line at pilot or in the dock at a shipper. I dont consider that guy a racist. So i wouldnt consider these guys racist for using the N word. |
