I often think about that myself, matcat. I don't see a whole lot of truck traffic in no man's land, in west Texas. Most of the trucks I see are the "local/regional" grain haulers, and cow haulers, but I do see quite a few Swift trucks, and the flatbed companies. I usually try to remember to hollar at a certain truck, if I know anyone on CAD drives for that certain company.

As I sit looking all around,
Confusion and uncertainty is all I found.
The answers are there,
But I do not know where.
Optimistic and hopeful dreams,
Are all I have so it seems.
The future I do not know,
So all I can do is take it slow.
But I do know it will work out,
So I wait and watch without a doubt
