truck is still in the shop. earliest they expect it to be out is some time tuesday afternoon. it's really messed up. fortunately i love denver. if this was anywhere in texas, georgia, utah, or nevada, i'd be going apeshiznit about now.

dude Denver kicks ass, if ya dig mexican food, go to a place called La Casa Bonita...was there last spring when my truck was in the shop in Henderson, wife and I rented a car for the weekend...had a good time

yes, denver does kick ass. if i ever got a livable job offer around here, i'd move in a jiffy. the job would have to pay me high enough to stay out of the section 8 garbage. i'd want to leave my place of residence with the comfortable feeling that my stuff will still be there when i come home after work. the hotel i'm at is the red lion hotel at quebec and i-70. lots of places to walk to. there was also a cage fighting event here on friday night. it was pretty good. dunno whether it was worth the $35 general admission, but whatever.

If ya gotta be stuck somewere Denver is at the tops of the list. Last time i got stuck there I rambled over to the Denver Zoo and the big natural history msueum right next door, was a good day of killing time. Their zoo is pretty cool.

Flying J, Eloy, AZ. Just watched a few four wheelers battle it out at 85 miles an hour... the result... not 1, but 3 helicopters having to land at the pilot across the street.
