Stayed in Gary one time. Went in to shower and got asked for money on the way in and a ride on the way out. And this is directly in front of the entrance door. Never will go back to any truckstop in Gary

I've heard if you have to stay in that area steel city is probably the lesser of the bazillion evils there. Of course I had other choices with both swift and risinger brothers. swift has a terminal in gary, now I hear they are picky about who can stay but at the time I was they let anyone that could cram in there stay. With risinger we had a fenced in yard in bedford park, wakegan, il and till about 4 mos b4 i left southbend, in
