Well i never even been to a grocery warehouse so i don't know how they work. But i can tell you i have been to alot of union construction sites and them guys work hard for their money. So it might be different at the warehouses. But i know on the job site you cant be lazy or be a bum cuz if the owner comes around you will hear it. Originally Posted by GMAN
I have had mostly positive experiences with union guys at construction sites. Most of the crane operators have been pretty decent. My main problem with the construction sites in general is that some of them don't value my time. I think the worst experiences that I have had with union workers has been at the steel plants with a close second at some grocery warehouses such as Publix.
On another note when i take a load of stone to a union job site it is alot better. Everyone speaks English they also run a safer job site then some of the non-union company's. When i pull up to a non-union job site you get a bunch of Mexicans that cant speak a lick of English trying to tell you were to dump. It can be a pain in the azz.
