This is ALL smoke and mirrors. I had frequent regen indicators until around 4000 miles and did whatever the manual said to do. All of a sudden, the indicators would fade in and out of "STOP ENGINE" after I had already done a forced regen. Eventually, the engine stopped. I took it to the F/L shop in Nampa, ID, where they replaced an EGR valve. Since then (now 50k), I rarely get the high heat warning and have not since seen the regen warning. I'm guessing Swift said "we're tired of that crap, make it go away" and F/L made it go away.
