The Mayan thing makes for great story-telling and movie-making, but it’s been conveniently glossed over that December of 2012 simply coincides with a Mayan astrology event. Something about the earth and the sun lining up with the center of the galaxy. Of course, I’m looking forward to seeing the movie 2012 next month…should be a good one.
As far as Yellowstone goes, there was a great article about it in the National Geographic a few months ago. Basically, if Yellowstone goes, it will be a worldwide catastrophic event. And Yellowstone will eventually erupt….it’s just a matter of when. Last time Yellowstone erupted, it was millions of years ago and changed the world. But the odds of it happening again soon are virtually zero.
