on cruise control, i never brought it above 65mph. kept the cruise control right there, or below, depending on the state. never put my foot down on the accelerator. the qualcomm never beeps as long as the accelerator is left alone. one can keep the cruise control on or off. just don't press down on the pedal and a driver will be fine. it never pops off on the sensor-trac report unless a driver can't keep their foot off it. it didn't matter whether or not i was going down a minimal hill. as i've stated several times in this paragraph, just don't touch the accelerator and a driver will be fine. now that the trucks are governed at 62mph, it still works about the cruise control, or disengaging it. i'll say it again, don't touch the accelerator once it's above a certain speed, and a driver will be fine.

I did that four times during training. I had to talk to safety about it. I don't do it any more. My foot was slapped.

Sure I can, My truck's paid for and I make more than enough to own a house and pay my bills and take 3 days off a week. As a matter of fact I'm taking the next three days off because I want to, not because I have to. Every company has a system, been there long enough to know how it works and get paid. Life isn't that bad at Swift.
