There seems to only be two conservatives left in the senate, Bob Corker of Tennessee and Richard Shelby of Alabama. These seem to be the only dissenting votes against the bailout of the banking and auto industries. We need to send these two back to Washington and send the rest packing. I suppose those who voted for the bailout will receive a new SUV from the auto industry and a new toaster from the banks.

Since the government has all this money to bail out these two industries that means that the government has TOO MUCH money. We need to DEMAND a tax cut. If the government has that much money to lend to these two industries then they have too much money. This is not something they should even entertain. You are right about our forefathers. I don't think they would have even entertained the possibility of the government getting into their business. Our forefathers wanted a small non intrusive government. They would not recognize the government of today.

I'm willing to bet that Chrysler, like Freightliner(Daimler) and International, has ramped up production at it's Mexico plants. Freightliner shutdwon the plant in Portland, to increase production in Mexico.:angryblue:
