I'd like to take a moment to inform you all about the changes to the admin/mod team here at CAD. As I'm sure you all know, Twilight Flyer stepped down a little over a week ago. Shortly thereafter, Roadhog and Ridge Runner announced their intentions to step down as well.
As of today, there have been two replacements brought in. GMAN and I have been added to the admin team to help with the day to day duties here at CAD. Ridge Runner will be staying on for a few weeks to help ease the transition. I hope that all of you will continue to post and keep making this the best place on the net for trucking information, and we will do our best to try to keep things running smoothly. I'm sure I speak for GMAN when I say that Twilight, Ridge, and Roadhog did a great job keeping this place running, and we thank them for their great service to the board. Between the three of them, those are some mighty big shoes to fill. Especially Roadhog's, because he had such big feet. Like giant Ronald McDonald clown size feet. I know the past month or so has been odd here, with the changeover to the new board format, and post counts are finally starting to pick up. Let's keep CAD going strong! If you've got any questions or problems, feel free to fire off a PM to either Scoe, GMAN, Ridge Runner, or myself. We'll do our best to help. I am writeng to the scarry Rev eye ball,, when I put in my address bar classdrivers.com it will not pull up your web page,, so I keep getting back in through and old email send to me through,, Please dsend me a privet message with the help,, I get so laost on this sight as of now,, dayreamer

Lately, when I have been out I usually have my step deck, Jackrabbit. I still like the covered wagon.

Oh ok.
I see a lot of step decks. I guess, that allows you to haul equipment, etc and still haul building products (other flatbed freight) etc, when available.

A step is probably one of the most versatile of the flatbeds. A couple of pedistal supports allows you to haul 48+ loads, but also allows you to haul taller loads than a straight flat. If I were still pulling flats, that's what I would want behind me most of the time. And, they do make side-kits for them too.
