Obama Malware E-mail (please - this is not an Obama-bashing post)

I don't know if anyone still opens everything that comes into their inbox but I received this alert in my office e-mail today :
"Beware of scam e-mails, including recent ones purporting to include “amazing” Obama speech. The Texas Tech University (TTU) IT Division has received reports regarding e-mails that appear to include “amazing” video clips of President-elect Barack Obama. In addition, other variants of this e-mail include election news results or interviews with Barack Obama’s advisers. In reality, the messages carry malware that can steal information and compromise users’ computers. The TTU IT Division recommends the following safe computing practices to protect yourself from this and related e-mail scams:
