so then if I think the price of fuel is to high....I can just drive off and then say "Hey...to damn high in pricing, I think they are trying to gouge *winkwinknudgenudge" and get away with it?

Sorry. That's 35,00 "POUNDS worth of damage. You'd have to live in "MERRY OLD ENGLAND" go get away with that, and you'd have to prove that you were preventing even greater damage. That'd be a tough call.
